5. Whats the difference between 'Quick Maps' and 'Maps&Stats'?
"Quick Maps" gives you access to a range of maps which displays data
on various themes (e.g. Health, Crime). Data on Quick Maps is
analysed at one or more geographical levels, such as Ward or Super Output Area.
By contrast "Maps & Stats" is a web-based Geographical Information System (GIS)
which allows you to analyse data in more detail, giving you the flexibility to view more than one set of data
at the same time than Quick Maps, but may take a little more time to master.
So if you want quick and easy access to geographical data, Quick Maps is likely to prove ideal
but if you are looking for more detail and statistics for any area you choose ,
then you should use 'Maps&Stats'.
6. Is there more up-to-date data available?
The data on the website is the latest that we currently have available through the
data sharing agreement's in place with each of our partners.
7. Why can't I see the data in more detail?
You may not be able to see the data at the level you were hoping for, for a number of reasons:
- The data may be restricted due to confidentiality and the risk of disclosing personal information.
- The data you are trying to view is only available at that geographical level because there is insufficient data at a more local level.
8. Can I download the data?
Currently only some of the data that is available on the site is downloadable but we working with our
partners to make as much data downloadable as possible.
Please note that no personal data or data that could idetify individuals is available to download.
