| Connexions (previously known as Careers Bradford) collates
and analyses data on the career pathways and destinations of
the districts 16-18 year olds on behalf of Bradford MDC. This
data is held on their CCIS management information system and
is used to both provide monthly anonomysed returns to the Department
for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and inform performance
to local district partners and service providers.
NEET data can be accessed by selecting the 'Quick Maps'
menu option which will allow you to view the following:
1. Total Number of young people aged 16-18 by ward
2. Total Number of young people by ward who are NEET
3. Total ward percentage of young people who are NEET
Additional NEET data can also be accessed by selecting the
'Data' menu option. This option will provide
you with more detailed information on how Neets are both defined
and recorded for monitoring and performance purposes. This option
provides monthly NEET data in the form of MS Excel and MS Word.

Summary Analysis of NEETs for January 2011:
The January 16-18 adjusted NEET rate, 7.4%, is the lowest ever in Bradford district.
The target for 16-18 adjusted NEET has therefore been met.
The 16-18 adjusted NEET rate across the three target months: November, December and January was 7.8%.The districts target figure was set at 8.1% or lower.
The adjusted NEET rate varies across the three age sub-groups within the 16 to 18 group.
Across the three target months it was 6.1% for 16 year olds, 8.1% for 17 year olds, and 8.6% for 18 year olds.
